The Elms Golf Club opened in 1930. The course was designed by Frank Pizzuto Sr.
The Elms Golf Course plays to a par-70 and 6,200 yards from the back tees. The course rating is 68.2 with a slope rating of 112.
This course is semi-hilly parkland style layout and very wooded. Five ponds come into play on ten holes. The course has small, raised greens and narrow fairways. The signature hole is #17, a 395-yard, par 4, requiring a shot past water protecting the front left of the green.

The Elms is always (for me) a fun place to play. It's an older, traditional golf course with plenty of trees. There's nothing fancy about this couorse, but the fairways are in good shape (I believe they play winter rules, but I was able to play summer rules with no problem), and the greens are excellent. The staff is quite friendly. This is a relatively short course (approximately 6200 yards) and is thus not particularly difficult -- although there are at least three or four fairly challenging holes from the blues.

a nice course with a really cool layout as the back nine works thru trees on a hole by hole basis.
